The Corps has been working hard over the past several months to obtain funding for much needed equipment. The Corps is happy to report that as of this morning several new pieces of newly acquired lifesaving equipment totaling over $150,000.00 in now in service on our ambulances. Several local and federal grants fully paid for 2-Lucas CPR devices, 1-Lifepak 15 V4 monitor defibrillator, 3 portable suction devices, 3 intubation kits, 3 video laryngoscopes, 7 IV Pumps, 2 Zoll portable Vents. The men and women of the Corps would like to thank the Westerly Town Council & Manger Lacey for allocating Federal Opioid Funds towards the Corps ongoing fight of the opioid epidemic. Senator Victora Gu and Representative Azzinaro for obtaining a Rhode Island Legislative Grant and the Gary Sinise Foundation for providing portable ventilators (not pictured) and IV medication pumps.
