For what is thought to be the first time in Corps history the annual Memorial Meeting will not be held this June, Thomas Gibney, Memorial Committee Chairman was sad to announce last week. Gibney, acting with guidance from President/Acting Chief Ron MacDonald III thought it would be best under the Covid-19 restrictions to postpone the long held summer tradition of remembrance till September. Many of the Corps Life Members with underlying health problems weighted heavily on MacDonald’s mind trying to balance tradition verses safety. Gibney is eagerly looking forward in seeing a large turnout of Corps members on September 18th. More information will follow as the September date gets closer.
