Happy EMS Week 2019

May 19-25, 2019, is the 45th annual National EMS Week. In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line." EMS Week is the perfect time to recognize EMS and all that its practitioners do for our nation.

The Westerly Ambulance Corps thanks all EMS personnel for your commitment to the profession and your communities!

The Westerly Ambulance Corps attended First Responder Day at the Westerly Hospital on May 19 to provide families a chance to get up close to fire trucks, ambulances, police cars and more. Fun, food and giveaways made the day a great success. Thank you Yale New Haven Health and the hospital for their "hospital-ity".
