The Westerly Ambulance Corps would like to invite area EMS, Hospital and Nursing facility personnel to join us for a this informative webinar. There is no fee for the event, however, RSVP's are requested. See the flyer for details.

The Westerly Ambulance Corps will be holding a Golf Tournament at the Woodriver Golf Course on May 15, 2010. We are asking for Hole Sponsors starting at $75.00, or Corporate Sponsors starting at $200.00. If you are a Corporate Sponsor, your business name will appear on our brochure that will be going out in April 2010.

This Fundraiser will help with the purchase of equipment and the training of personnel in Advanced Trench Rescue Operations.

If you are able to donate any items for our Raffle at the end of the Tournament, it would be greatly appreciated.

On Friday, April 24, 2009 Westerly Ambulance, Westerly Rescue, and Westerly Police responded to the Westerly High School for a mock DUI accident organized by students of the school. 6 patients were extricated from the cars, all with simulated injuries including 1 death. One student was taken into custody by the Westerly Police Dept and arrested for DUI.

The mock accident was observed by juniors and seniors of WHS to raise awareness of the dangers of drunk driving.
